We went to a matching party today and kinda got interested in a 19 year old boy. He has a 40 IQ, and is a lot like an 8 year old. I was wondering, what happens when he turns 21 and the subsidy stops? This is not a child who would ever be independent, and his worker told us he is currently working with DDSO. I haven't had time to look up anything, but I am assuming he would be eligible for SSD of some sort?

I also have in the back of my head that there are organizations that help...
