Sigh. Doesn't sound like this is going to be a fit. We currently have no children, and will definitely want to have younger/other children before Christian would turn 18. I just don't think we can give him what he needs, especially as inexperienced parents.
Do you think it's unrealistic to think that we can adopt an older child and give them what they need while bringing other younger children (possibly biological) into our home?
I'm bummed.
