Yes, we have heard a lot about him, mainly because of the "parachuting". Best of luck to him. At least, he is not one of the ones denying the scandals that have happened under the Liberals.

I, for one, am hoping for a change of government. It is overdue. M is quite excited about the election as well. The Grade 5 and 6's, voted on Thursday and their results were emailed (I think to the CBC) and the student results are supposed to be put up along with the adult results. The kids got to research the different parties and learn about their platforms and then had a secret ballot. Very good. I have already given M my message that voting is not a right, but a hard fought for privilege (especially for women), and one should always vote.

The reality in our riding is that our incumbent (Tiger's buddy) does not have a particularly good record for serving her consituents or for having a well-trained staff. :(
