I have recently put my boy in front of some classic interactive learning titles. I was able to pick up a bundle of Carmen Sandiego, Zoombinis, Spellbound and Math Blast at TJMaxx for 10 bucks.
He is in love with it! I know that the puzzle work in particular is good exercise for building those logic centers in his brain. There have been days lately when he has worked on the computer puzzles in favor of watching tv with the family at night.
I was thinking that he might enjoy a LeapPad sort of deal. He is half way through fifth grade. I tried looking at whats available on Ebay and the LeapPad site, but there are too many items, I get overwhelmed and have a hard time drilling down to what I need when I get too many choices!
So Lav... tell me what your boys use and give me some recommendations. He is specifically weak in reading comprehension. I am looking forward to hearing from anyone on good learning toys for this age.
