Not so sure tonight
We signed our 33's late this afternoon. DD came with us, everything seemed to be fine. She seemed genuinely (sp?) happy, especially since they had decorated the conference room with ballons and had a nice cake in celebration.
We got in the car to go home. Asked her if she wanted something special for dinner in celebration, "no". It was like a black curtain came down over her. I tried talking to her without pushing and she insisted nothing was wrong. I told her that if she felt bad about separating "officially" from her birth family made her feel sad, that was perfectly normal and by all means okay. She again insisted no.
We'll see if she confides anything to DH when he reads her her bed time story in a little while. Otherwise it may be a very long weekend
