Little guy and little gal started school today. Both were so excited. I've been amazed by how quickly little gal learned to recognize the school's logo on paperwork at home. ("My 'cool, my 'cool.") She also recognized the way there -- it's not on our regular trail -- she's only been there once.
Little guy was so enthralled with his new classroom that he could barely interrupt his exploration to say 'bye. I showed little gal the bathroom in her classroom, flushing the toilet for her so she knows how loud it is (or isn't). That's a big thing with her.
It's been a bit of a strain because the bldg's opening was delayed by 10 days due to some renovations that ran behind schedule. More time at home for Mom and Dad; however, it's ultimately been great for all of us as we settle into being a family of four.
